Meet the Team

Johnny B Good
Johnny B Good is the Owner and President of Turtle Bay IT Services (TBITS), a Lake Country-based Managed Service Provider serving businesses throughout the Okanagan and beyond. With more than 20 years of experience in information technology, Johnny has built a reputation for delivering practical, common-sense IT solutions that help organizations operate more securely, efficiently, and confidently.
Throughout his career, Johnny has worked as a Computer Technician, Business Analyst, IT Consultant, and business owner, giving him a unique perspective that bridges both technology and business operations. His focus is not simply on fixing computers but on helping organizations leverage technology as a strategic tool for growth, security, and long-term success.
As President of the Lake Country Chamber of Commerce, Johnny is actively involved in supporting local businesses and strengthening the community. He believes technology should empower people rather than complicate their work and is passionate about educating business owners and staff so they can get the most from their technology investments.
Under Johnny's leadership, TBITS has grown into a trusted technology partner providing managed IT services, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 administration, backup and disaster recovery, networking, VoIP solutions, cloud services, and strategic IT consulting.
When he is not working with clients, Johnny can often be found supporting the rugby community, volunteering with local organizations, working on community initiatives, or finding new ways to improve and simplify technology for the businesses he serves.
"Technology doesn't need to be complicated. The right solution is often the simplest one."Â

Craig Verburgh
Craig brings over 30 years of IT experience to the Lake Country region of British Columbia. He worked with Johnny in the past when they were both in Ontario. Craig specializes in Microsoft 365, Data Recovery, IT Consulting, Computer Networking, Network Support, Backup & Recovery Systems, and Cybersecurity. When Craig isn't working on computers you'll find him exploring the many off-road trails in the sunny Okanagan.

Hayden
Hayden is an IT Technician bringing over two years of hands-on experience and a diploma in Infrastructure and Computing Technology. He enjoys working with networking, hardware, cabling, and troubleshooting technical issues, helping clients keep their systems running smoothly and efficiently. Outside of work, Hayden spends his time motorcycling, off-roading, and camping, and enjoys any opportunity to get out and explore the outdoors.

Michael

Daniel
With over 4 years of experience in IT, Daniel is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses make the most of their technology. Throughout their career, they have developed expertise in troubleshooting technical issues, supporting users, and implementing practical solutions that keep systems running smoothly. Daniel believes in finding straightforward, effective answers to technology challenges and enjoys helping others build confidence with their devices and software. Their goal is to make technology approachable, reliable, and useful for every client.
When not working with technology, he enjoys cooking and gaming.

Mark
Mark works in IT, which means he spends his days solving technical mysteries, answering questions that begin with "This might be a silly question...", and occasionally proving that restarting really does fix things.
With experience supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and end-user technologies, Mark enjoys helping organizations work more efficiently and securely. His goal is to translate complicated technical concepts into practical solutions that people can actually use.
When he's away from the keyboard, Mark enjoys learning about emerging technologies, taking on new challenges, and continuing his lifelong quest to convince people that regular backups are a good idea.

Chris
Chris may not have quite as many years in the industry as some of his senior colleagues, but he brings over 10 years of experience working with computers. His background includes roles at Microsoft call centers, major retail technology stores, and local computer repair shops.
A graduate of the North Okanagan College NTEN Program, Chris enjoys building and troubleshooting both hardware and software solutions. When he's not solving technology problems for clients, you'll likely find him gaming online or rolling dice with friends in tabletop adventures.

Carter
Carter has been passionate about computers and technology for most of his life and enjoys helping people solve technical challenges. As a Student Computer Technician with Turtle Bay IT Services, he has gained hands-on experience upgrading computers, organizing hardware inventory, and supporting day-to-day IT operations. Carter is always eager to learn new skills, find practical solutions, and help others get the most out of their technology.
Outside of IT, Carter works as a Lighting and Sound Technician with Creekside Theatre, where he has grown from a volunteer to one of the primary technicians supporting local productions and events. He has worked on shows featuring artists such as Steven Page, Ron Sexsmith, George Canyon, and Chantal Kreviazuk, while also helping support community events such as Live! in Lake Country.
Carter is a student at George Elliot Secondary School and has attended multiple BC Student Leadership Conferences, where he developed leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. When he isn't working with technology or live events, he enjoys baseball, skiing, music, photography, and spending time with friends and family.

Lucifer
Meet Lucifer, the four-legged owner of Turtle Bay IT Services. While Johnny B Good handles the day-to-day operations, everyone knows Lucifer is the real boss.
Lucifer specializes in employee supervision, customer relations, security patrols, and ensuring all staff take appropriate breaks throughout the day. His management style consists primarily of strategic naps, surprise office inspections, and demanding treats in exchange for executive guidance.
As Chief Morale Officer, Lucifer is responsible for:
- Greeting visitors and clients
- Conducting regular perimeter security checks
- Monitoring office snack inventory
- Providing stress relief during difficult support tickets
- Supervising staff productivity from the nearest comfortable chair
- Ensuring work-life balance through mandatory petting sessions
When not overseeing TBITS operations, Lucifer enjoys exploring Lake Country, chasing squirrels, evaluating new sleeping locations, and reminding everyone that no meeting is more important than dinner time.
Known for his unwavering loyalty, exceptional listening skills, and ability to boost team morale, Lucifer remains an essential part of the TBITS leadership team.
"Every problem looks smaller after a walk and a treat."
